Sometimes to do a great miracle, God uses children rather then adults. I think this is probably because most adults are ornery, stubborn and prideful or they just don't know how to leave their comfort zone to do something amazing even if God is urging them to.
Anyway, I have seen people be prayed for and their crippled legs miraculously straighten and where ever there body had a lack of muscle, or tissue, it just grows back to normal. I have seen and done it myself cast demons out of people and places. I have seen limbs grow out to normal length. I have witnessed God completely healing someone when they were on the brink of death or heal someone's mental disorder. I have also seen it when someone is prayed for and nothing happens. So with all that said, God still heals and does extraordinary things but He does according to His will and He uses people to get His work done.
Mitch, the youngest child, is seven. He is quite the young man. He has the humor of a 27 year old and is probably more mature then most of the people I graduated with. Anyway I remember the kids were doing their schoolwork and I was cleaning something but had to sit down because of really bad migraine. I told Mitch to come pray for me. He just simply walks right over, back straight, puts his hand on my shoulder and prays:
"God, I don't know what is wrong with Tabby but heal her God and help her feel better. I rebuke whatever is making her not feel good in the name of Jesus. Amen."
It was so precious! I hugged him and thanked him. Then he asks, "Do you feel better?" I kinda just laughed because I didn't think I would but I appreciated his gesture. But after about ten minutes my migraine had fully given way to feeling normal again and I told Mitch that I did and Praise God for that quick healing!
See, sometimes you don't have to have a fancy certificate from a Bible college or have a label in front of your name or be really old to be able to do great things. Because God, who is the Greatest, uses those who we often think can't do cool things. But obviously, the majority of us are wrong. Children have an interesting way about them that makes themselves more open to God and His works. Their faith in Him is sometimes more stronger then that of a grown adults. What does that say to you?
